**About the Role**

Spark Power Corp is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced technicians with various tasks and contributing to the success of our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including visualizing, measuring, and estimating work as required.
  • Determine when additional materials are needed to complete tasks and ensure that all necessary equipment is available.
  • Label and identify wires, conduits, and apparatus to prevent electrical shock or electrocution.
  • Develop and implement efficient routing options for conduit, wires, and other systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to newer apprentices and colleagues as needed.
  • Attend regular meetings, safety sessions, and professional development workshops to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Ensure that all company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and stocked with necessary tools and materials.
  • Load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Maintain accurate work order records and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Perform electrical installations and field work as assigned.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance to ensure that all company vehicles are safe and operational.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Electrical Apprentice with a minimum level 1 certification.
  • Experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional electrical work.
  • Excellent attitude, with a proactive, hardworking, and team-oriented personality.
  • Valid driver's license with a clear abstract.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable and committed to delivering high-quality work and contributing to the team's success.
  • Electrical knowledge and experience are assets.
  • Positive and hardworking attitude, with a desire to grow and develop in your electrical career.
  • Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to all health and safety standards and practices.
  • Adherence to Spark Power Corp's COVID-19 vaccination policy.
