Position Title: Electrical Technician Apprentice at Spark Power Corp

As an Electrical Technician Apprentice at Spark Power Corp, you will play a vital role in supporting Journeymen and other team members in their daily tasks, contributing to the efficiency of our operations. Your skills will develop over time, enabling you to take on increased responsibilities in line with your capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the best methods for visualizing, measuring, and estimating work requirements
  • Recognize the necessity for additional materials to successfully complete tasks
  • Mark wires, conduits, and equipment to ensure safety and prevent electrical hazards
  • Choose optimal routing strategies for conduits, wires, and electrical systems
  • Support fellow Apprentices in their training and orientation
  • Participate in mandatory meetings and safety training sessions
  • Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good condition
  • Conduct fieldwork and assist with installations

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Registered Electrical Apprentice - Minimum Level 1
  • Experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional electrical settings
  • Positive, diligent, and collaborative mindset
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Dependable and dedicated to delivering quality work
  • Aspiring to advance in the Electrical profession
  • Attention to detail with the ability to meet project deadlines
