Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cashier Team Lead to join our team at Dépanneur Lemoyne. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cashiers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to meet customer needs.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they are equipped to handle customer inquiries and sales transactions.
  • Order merchandise and authorize returns to maintain an efficient inventory system.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Manage cash handling and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance to colleagues.
