Critical Care Nurse

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Sechelt Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients of all ages, working in a fast-paced environment with unpredictable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing care to clients/patients with a wide range of symptoms and conditions.
- Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Consult, confer, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in designated hospital committees and approved research projects as assigned.
Sechelt Hospital is an acute care facility located in Sechelt, British Columbia, serving over 30,000 residents of the Lower Sunshine Coast. Our hospital provides a range of services, including emergency care, renal program, mental health and substance use services, surgical services, and imaging services.
Qualifications- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) is required.
- Completion of a recognized critical care nursing program or completion of a recognized advanced program in intensive care or emergency care nursing or two (2) years' recent, related experience.
