Motel Managing Supervisor Job Description

At Canada Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our motel, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of 11-15 team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure high-quality results and meet business objectives.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hotel or motel industry.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of dependability and initiative.
Work Environment:
