Motel Operations Supervisor

At Canada Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our motel, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of 11-15 staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure they meet their job responsibilities and performance expectations.
- Operations Management: Coordinate and assign work tasks, maintain the operation of computer systems and equipment, and arrange for repairs to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service by performing same duties as workers supervised, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Materials and Supplies: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain the motel's operations and ensure that staff have the necessary resources to perform their jobs.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry.
- Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, team player, and work term: permanent.
