Job Title: Handyman/Woman

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Woman to join our team at Canadian Sofa Solution Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Handyman/Woman will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes tasks such as cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment, as well as performing minor electrical and plumbing work.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and clean hallways, floors, and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems. Contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Security and Safety: Perform criminal record checks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, organization, and reliability.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
