Job Title: Handyman

We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team at PRIDE GROUP LOGISTICS LTD. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Window and Wall Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained appearance.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Contractor Management: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Appliance Repair: Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the facility is secure and safe.
  • Moving and Storage: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a well-organized environment.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
