Job Summary

Yukon Nissan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee and manage all F&I department operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to listen and discern, and have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of the F&I Department, including vehicle financing and insurance, and provide thorough explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
    • Ensure good working relationships with new lending institutions and maintain competitive interest rates and financing programs.
    • Assist in ensuring accurate and secure financing and leasing deals through financial sources and proper federal, state, and corporate channels.
    • Understand and comply with federal, territorial, and local regulations affecting the new and used-vehicle and finance departments.
    • Develop and maintain programs for the F&I department and sales department to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
    • Provide training and information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership's financing and extended service programs.
  • Collaboration:
    • Maintain good working relationships with lending institutions.
    • Maintain effective employee relations.
    • Attend manager meetings as required.
  • Dealership Brand Commitment:
    • Complete required training offered by the dealership.
    • Stay up-to-date on all training programs.
    • Possess a strong product knowledge.
    • Possess a strong aptitude for new features, specials, and updates.
    • Be a champion for delivering excellent service at all times.
    • Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team workspaces.
    • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Keep up to date with products, accessories, prices, and key features of major competitors.
Requirements
  • Strong aptitude for F&I and Sales.
  • Strong product knowledge.
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an engaging and upbeat attitude.
  • Organized with attention to detail and the ability to document customers' needs.

  • Ability to manage customer complaints and solve difficult or complex problems.
  • Results-oriented and accountable for all aspects of the department.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
  • Strong product knowledge.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ideally two (2) years minimum as a F&I Manager.
