The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our food and logistics operations forward, ensuring seamless procurement processes that cater to the needs of our community programs. As a key member of our Food and Logistics team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the overall organization's food and equipment procurement strategy to ensure timely, cost-effective, and organized acquisition of goods and services for effective supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective procurement tactics in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Work collaboratively within the Food and Logistics team and other departments to ensure all procurement activities are executed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage and optimize procurement and supply chain workflows and processes for improved efficiency and service.
  • Through vendor/supplier research, evaluation, and sourcing tactics, lead the development and execution of procurement plans to deliver on organizational objectives consistent with demand, quality, cost, and service.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation is an asset.
  • A valid G-Class driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with a focus on MS Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience in food and cold supply chain is a great asset.
Benefits:
  • This position is eligible to participate in our hybrid/remote work program.
  • We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
