We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Associate to join our team at West Edmonton Mall. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and embodying the warmth and expertise that Canada Goose is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by achieving or exceeding personal sales targets and contributing to store results.
  • Attend and participate in all store meetings, events, and product knowledge sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive store environment through effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Assist in driving our Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other selling and service metrics such as conversion, average dollar per transaction, average unit retail, etc.
  • Support upkeeping the overall physical store maintenance, standards, and cleanliness.
  • Effectively organize the stock room and efficiently process inbound and outbound shipments in support of delivering a seamless customer journey.
  • Maintain the sales floor and stock room inventory ensuring the floor is replenished accordingly.
  • Advise customers on product recommendations through expert product knowledge.
  • Accurately and efficiently utilize point of sale (POS) systems and operational tools in compliance with Canada Goose standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-focused environment.
  • Bonus points for previous experience working with luxury brands in high-volume locations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and must be flexible to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Good understanding of store operations and driving sales performance.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and team-orientated environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail and adaptability.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in another language, Mandarin speaking preferred
