Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Canada Kings Carrier Inc.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, performing preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs as required.
- Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Communication Systems: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail required.
