We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our food service team at Ontario Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training: Supervise and coordinate the work of staff members, providing guidance on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality and Control: Ensure that all meals meet high quality standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, as well as prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Scheduling and Workload: Establish work schedules and supervise the assembly of trays.
Employee Support Programs
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Participate in mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
  • Youth and Indigenous Support: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth and Indigenous workers.
Requirements
  • A permanent position with a 32-hour workweek.
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but proficiency in English is required.
Compensation Package

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $55,000-$65,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This figure may vary based on location and other factors.
