Strategic Operations Director

Synnapex, a leading provider of technology professional services and hardware solutions, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Strategic Operations Director to lead our smart building division.

This is a pivotal role that requires outstanding leadership and team-building skills, as well as strategic insights to guide our company's growth and excellence in the smart building sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of operations for Synnapex's smart building division, spearheading the transition from third-party OEM offerings to our branded product line, and developing value propositions to expand current business and cultivate new opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and expansion in the smart building sector
  • Leading the evaluation of potential Chinese tech product manufacturing partners and conducting due diligence on their quality assurance, innovation, and production capabilities
  • Establishing manufacturing partnerships, supply chain management processes, and policies
  • Overseeing and guiding the resolution of product and technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Providing consistent feedback to middle managers and team members through departmental meetings, performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and developmental initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in business administration, international trade, or a similar field, and at least 10 years of experience in senior operations management for tech and hardware-related product manufacturing.

Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese is a strong asset, but not a requirement. The successful candidate will also have expertise in international outsourcing, manufacturing from China, warehousing, logistics, purchasing, inventory forecasting and management, and plant facilities evaluation.
