Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at BC Hydro. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits to identify and assess risks and control weaknesses
  • Develop and implement audit plans to address identified risks and control weaknesses
  • Review and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide recommendations to management to improve internal controls and risk management processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective implementation of audit recommendations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in internal auditing or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with a 37.5 hour work week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a hybrid environment.
