Internal Auditor

At BC Hydro, we are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes. This is a key role in maintaining the integrity of our operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified risks and control weaknesses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide training and guidance to employees on internal controls and risk management best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5 years or more of experience in internal auditing or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment
- Hybrid work arrangement
- 37.5 hours per week
- English language required
