Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the John Howard Society of Okanagan & Kootenay. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
- Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as counselors and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support services.
- Conduct home visits and community outreach to engage with clients and provide support in their natural environments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
