At Five Rivers Financial Solutions Inc., we are seeking a skilled Business Operations Coordinator to join our team. As an administrative support specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, and 35-40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be proficient in typing and proofreading correspondence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among staff members.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events with clients and colleagues.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and other documents related to business operations.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to the relevant personnel.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
  • Greet clients, visitors, and employees, directing them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems to store and retrieve important documents.
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
Support Programs
  • We offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
  • Mentorship opportunities for youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, mature workers, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field (not required but preferred).
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity software.
