CIMA Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 15 people and overseeing the execution of large-scale multidisciplinary projects in the Energy and Resources sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team in executing multiple mandates or large-scale projects
- Act as technical reference in the industrial and automation sector and find solutions for complex engineering challenges
- Act as liaison with clients to track project progress and ensure their opinions and requests are taken into consideration
- Ensure continuous monitoring of employees working on clients' premises, with respect to compliance with health and safety standards
- Provide timely support in the review and accuracy of drawings and specifications, testing plans and engineering designs
- Work closely with clients to resolve all project-related issues, including technical requests, completion, and budget requests
- Perform contractual follow-ups, write amendments, and monitor the financial progress of contracts
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or considerable experience in automation
- Significant experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Proficiency in financial concepts and budget monitoring
- Proven project management skills
