Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a leading global athletic footwear, apparel, equipment, and accessories company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join their team. This role will provide IT support for systems and applications used in Distribution Centers, focusing on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), and other applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day IT production support for WMS, WCS, and other applications in Distribution Centers.
  • Lead small to medium-sized IT projects and participate in larger initiatives to improve solutions, processes, or services.
  • Apply IT best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to enhance solutions and processes.
  • Monitor systems, perform health checks, and troubleshoot issues using various methods, including application interfaces, Windows & Unix log files, and SQL.
  • Document resolutions for a broader team and serve as the local IT application expert.
  • Lead and drive resolutions on high-severity issues impacting the Distribution Center and provide clear, content-rich communication to senior leaders and others.
Requirements:
  • Strong SQL knowledge with the ability to understand database schemas/data models and write complex queries to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • IT Generalist with a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure, including Clients, Servers, Databases, Storage appliances, Application Servers, interface protocols, and the Network that connects them.
  • Experience with vendor management and working with IT vendors to resolve issues.
  • Ability to lead meetings and make presentations with senior leaders.
  • Experience creating functional and reviewing technical designs.
  • Project Management skills, including procuring senior leader sponsorship, controlling scope, assessing and mitigating risks, executing against compliance requirements, and implementing on time.
  • QA experience, including creating use/test cases, executing and documenting unit/integration tests using various methods and tools.
  • University/College Degree or related education in Information Technology.
  • Minimum 4 years directly relevant work experience.
  • SAP, Microsoft Office, Oracle/SQL Database, Linux application administration, and Strong Project Management experience.
