Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning information technology solutions with business initiatives. This position is responsible for conducting systems process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with expert users and business representatives to determine business requirements.
  • Collaborate with systems analysts, application developers, and business analysts to identify options for potential solutions.
  • Implement effective processes to assess project risks and identify risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review, analyze, and define current/future state processes.
  • Manage daily operations and functionality of the application.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications for enhancements.
  • Perform analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, functional requirements, and data element requirements.
  • Write FRD, BRD, Test Cases, and other documents for multiple projects.
  • Coordinate with developers and quality assurance analysts to test software changes.
  • Experience in business systems integrations and understanding of Microsoft Azure API management, Azure Logic Apps, and configurations is an asset.
  • Manage project timelines and resources.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain documentation.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar is a must.
  • Strong sense of business process and ability to provide best practice strategies for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is an asset.
  • Experience in working with Azure DevOps and good understanding of agile practices for project/solution delivery is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team and lead and manage team members.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of Business Systems experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance, business, and technical areas; Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
