The Department of Oncology at the Saint John Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development alongside experienced professionals in the field.
About the Role
This full-time Medical Oncology position is available immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services in the region.
Requirements
- Royal College Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology or equivalent is required. The candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
- In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills are necessary for success in this role.
- A good attendance record and physical ability to perform assigned duties are also essential.
- The ideal candidate must be a member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Medical Society.
- Current malpractice insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) appropriate to the category of practice is mandatory.
Compensation Package
The estimated annual salary for this Medical Oncology position ranges between $250,000 to $400,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for career advancement, is available to the successful candidate.
