Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Cook to join our team at Canucks Sports & Entertainment. As an Apprentice Cook, you will have the opportunity to work and receive valuable training in a premium kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work and train in a premium kitchen environment
  • Maintain food and kitchen safety with a focus on food preparation standards
  • Implement and enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of the kitchen
  • Partner with Lead Cooks and Cooks to ensure the highest quality food for our guests
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Ability to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays with various start times based on the kitchen needs
  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Completion of Food Safe Certificate is an asset
  • Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2025
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
