IT Service Desk Analyst

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused IT Service Desk Analyst to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to and resolve technical issues and requests from students, staff, and faculty in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and support through various communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues and escalate as necessary.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of university systems, applications, and technologies to provide effective support.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and documentation to improve support processes.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Grade 12 plus two-year post-secondary diploma in Computing Science or equivalent.
- Two years of direct experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of computer systems and applications.
- Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with technology and best practices.
