Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC).
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management and in accordance with the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia mission statement.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

Requirements
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
• Postgraduate courses (within the last five years) appropriate to service assignment or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and promote safe, competent patient care
