About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fabrication Manager to join our team at the National Research Council Canada (NRC). As a key member of our Fabrication Department, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and engineers in the design, development, and production of advanced manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technicians and engineers in the fabrication of complex systems and components
  • Develop and implement fabrication processes and procedures to ensure high-quality products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new manufacturing systems
  • Manage and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Develop and implement training programs for technicians and engineers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in fabrication management or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
What We Offer

The NRC offers a competitive salary range of $73,744 to $94,839 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, and a pension plan.
