About the Role

This permanent, full-time position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, plus benefits, including group insurance and group RRSP. As a Senior Bioanalytical Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the analysis of complex biological samples using advanced instrumentation, such as liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Your expertise in extraction techniques, data interpretation, and report writing will be essential in driving our mission to bring new medicines to the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive analytical methods for bioanalytical testing
  • Operate and maintain LC-MS/MS instruments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets, identifying trends and patterns that inform project outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results and meet project deadlines
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in a GLP-compliant laboratory environment
  • Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation, including LC-MS/MS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting
