Job Summary

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Island Retail Group. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and facing merchandise.
  • Meet sales targets by promoting products and services to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting tills and securing the store.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Full-time enrollment or part-time enrollment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
