Job Title: Pastry Chef Manager

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef Manager to join our team at COBS Bread The Quarry. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and production of high-quality baked goods.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pastry production and management, with experience leading a team of bakers. You will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining quality control, and ensuring that all products meet our high standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the bakery, including baking, decorating, and packaging.
  • Supervise and train a team of bakers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to minimize waste and excess stock.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all products before they are released to customers.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to stay competitive in the market.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pastry production or management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Aptitude for maintaining accurate records and inventory levels.
  • Possession of relevant qualifications in pastry arts or a related field.
