Greenhouse Horticulture Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Southshore Greenhouses Inc. as a Greenhouse Horticulture Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily greenhouse cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in the cultivation and care of greenhouse crops, including bell peppers and other vegetables.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and report signs of insect or disease damage.
- Operate equipment and machinery to water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
- Participate in hand harvesting and crop preparation activities.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve production goals and maintain a high level of quality control.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with regular exposure to heights, hot temperatures, and non-smoking conditions.
Requirements- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of reliability.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Availability to work 60 hours per week.
