We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Cronos Growing Company Inc. as a Horticultural Crop Care Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and productivity of our hydroponic horticultural products.
Key Responsibilities- Crop Care and Maintenance: Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants, transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings, and report signs of insect or disease damage.
- Watering and Tending: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring optimal growing conditions.
- Task Management: Cut horticultural crops, and perform other tasks as required to maintain a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be working in a rural area with a hot work site environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) of weight.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: Will train, but a background in horticulture or a related field is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Work Schedule: 40 to 60 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
