About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at Cronos Growing Company Inc. as a Greenhouse Horticultural Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our hydroponic horticultural products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Cut horticultural crops, assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants, transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings, and report signs of insect or disease damage.
  • Plant Care: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring optimal growing conditions.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and standing for extended periods.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with our team to achieve our goals and maintain a reliable and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), bend, crouch, kneel, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
