As a Family Physician, you will work alongside colleagues in various specialties, including Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Psychiatry, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopedics, Palliative Care, Pediatrics, Radiology, and Addictions Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality family medicine care to unattached and unassigned inpatients at CRG
- Work collaboratively with a UBC resident when available
- Participate in home-call overnight rotations
Our hospital serves the communities of Alert Bay, Campbell River, Cortes Island, Gold River, Kyuquot, Port Alice, Port Hardy, Port MacNeill, Sointula, and Tahsis, offering opportunities for rural medicine and community engagement.
Compensation PackageWe offer a competitive compensation package, which includes:
- An estimated annual salary of $240,000 - $320,000, based on experience and qualifications
- A recruitment incentive of up to $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
- A relocation allowance of up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- A flat fee of $9,242.09% per year
- CME funding of $2,200/annum (years 3-4) and $4,400/annum (after 4 years in the community)
