Senior Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mixed Signal Design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuits for our optical communications products.
Key Responsibilities- Architect, design, layout, measure, and productize ultra-deep sub-micron-based CMOS products
- Lead efforts for large blocks on complex chips, mentor team members, and track deliverables
- Participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production
- Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met
- Work with other Acacia mixed-signal engineers to provide an optimized design that integrates into the ASIC
- BSEE degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent
- Design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs in at least 3 areas: High Speed Serial Links, High Performance Output Drivers, and High Performance Phase Locked Loops
- Direct experience with electrical transceiver applications, including backplane and cable communications
- Design for manufacturability: characterization over PVT, electromigration analysis, power and IR drop analysis, and solid ESD laboratory practices and methodology
- Software experience: high-frequency test equipment, such as BERT, jitter analyzers, VNA/PNA, etc.
