Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge transimpedance amplifiers and high-performance equalizers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF and analog design, with expertise in Silicon Germanium (SiGe) BiCMOS technology and transmission line structures.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-performance transimpedance amplifiers and equalizers using SiGe BiCMOS technology.
- Develop transmission line structures and other millimeter wave structures to enable higher performance.
- Design and develop high-performance broadband analog circuits for optical front-end receivers.
- Design and develop various other analog circuits, including linear regulators, AGC loops, current/voltage sensors, and bandgaps.
- Develop microarchitecture of major circuit blocks and guide a team of designers to implement them.
- Work with other functional groups to facilitate post-silicon validation, qualification, transition to mass production, and customer support.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Master's/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in RF and analog design.
- Proven experience in IC design, including chip tape-out and lab evaluation of receiver design.
- Solid experience in using EDA CAD tools, performing analog custom layout, and measuring IC performance.
- Deep understanding of device physics, control/feedback loop stability analysis, and transistor-level design.
- Experience in package-system integration issues and project experience in using different technologies is a plus.
- A team-player with strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
