System Coordinator Job Description

Groupe Robert is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented System Coordinator to join our distribution center team. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and planning for systems related to customer and carrier requests, as well as other Groupe Robert departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communications between operations and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
  • Plan demand scheduling in relation to shipments and goods-in according to crane availability to optimize logistics.
  • Manage and document system errors with the maintenance team to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to various parties involved to ensure timely completion.
  • Plan order releases that correspond to the system to ensure accurate processing.
  • Guide and assist carriers in making appointments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Communicate with customers in the event of problems to provide timely updates.
  • Validate and question compliance of new customer requests according to contractual agreements to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Update information in systems according to customer requests to ensure accuracy.
  • Create necessary documentation related to the receipt and dispatch of merchandise to maintain records.
  • Ensure and apply industry quality standards to maintain high-quality services.

Requirements:

  • DEC in a relevant discipline to ensure strong foundation in logistics and operations.
  • One to two years' similar experience required to demonstrate expertise in system coordination.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) to efficiently manage tasks and data.
  • Experience with customer service to provide excellent support to customers.
  • Bilingualism required (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to carry out several mandates at the same time (Versatility) to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Organizational skills to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Able to manage priorities in a high-pressure environment to ensure timely completion of tasks.
