We are seeking a part-time General Practitioner/Family Physician with a special interest in mental health and substance use to join our team at the Gateway Primary Care Clinic. The clinic provides medical care and health education for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use issues.
The Primary Care Clinic staff includes GPs/Family Physicians with special interest in mental health and substance use, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, and Medical Office Assistants. We use a multidisciplinary team approach to deliver quality medical care through coordination of care with Surrey Mental Health and Substance Use and other community agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care and health education for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use issues
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality medical care
- Coordinate care with Surrey Mental Health and Substance Use and other community agents
Requirements:
- CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC Full, CPSBC Provisional
- Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use issues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
