Mental Health Therapist Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist Specialist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients suffering from acute episodes of mental illness and substance misuse/dependence.
- Develop and coordinate care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals on issues related to mental health.
- Collaborate with mental health agencies and family physicians to ensure effective treatment and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate patient records and participate in program evaluation and planning.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school, plus one year's recent experience in mental health treatment.
- Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers.
- Class 5 Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business-related purposes.

Estimated Salary Range: $52.81 - $67.06 per hour
