Job Title: Financial Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Junior Financial Specialist on behalf of our Oil & Gas client located downtown in Calgary.

About the Role:

This is a permanent and full-time opportunity available to start immediately. As a member of a small, dedicated team, you will have the chance to grow professionally and contribute to the success of our client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-cycle accounting including accounts payable and receivable;
  • Tracking and matching invoices;
  • Bank, general ledger, inventory & invoicing reconciliations;
  • Assisting with invoice entry;
  • Supporting the senior Financial Specialist with filing month-end and year-end reports;
  • Additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' experience with full-cycle accounting is preferred;
  • Experience with SAP or Sage 50 is an asset but not required;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook;
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a willingness to learn quickly.
