About the Role

This permanent position involves maintaining and balancing various financial accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. As a Financial Record Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Cheque Preparation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
  • Fixed Assets and Depreciation: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, providing critical information for financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing valuable insights into company performance.
Requirements

To succeed as a Financial Record Specialist, you should have:

  • Education: A College or CEGEP diploma is required.
  • Experience: At least 1 month to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.

Salary
