Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at The Floral Express. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement and Sourcing
    • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
    • Review requirements of our wholesale establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
    • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring high-quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Communication and Relationship Building
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement and inventory management processes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
