Job Summary

AppleOne is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician - Instrumentation and Electronics Specialist to provide technical support for industrial analyzers and process control instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and instrumentation, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and assistance to customers in the operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial analyzers and process control instrumentation.
  • Analyze work orders and plan daily travel schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Investigate complaints and conduct tests to resolve problems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and work with the sales team to build future opportunities.

Requirements
  • Electronics/Environmental/Instrumentation/Electrical Technician or Technologist Diploma or traceable related work experience.
  • 4+ years related work experience with industrial analyzers, process and safety instrumentation.
  • Ability to work from home and maintain small inventory of parts and required tools.
  • Ability to understand and implement electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Sound judgment, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.

Working Conditions
The Field Service Technician - Instrumentation and Electronics Specialist will be required to travel extensively, with up to 50% of the job involving travel. The ideal candidate will be able to accommodate varying hours and work from a remote location. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is also required. Security and Safety Clearances and Certifications will be required for this role. The Field Service Technician - Instrumentation and Electronics Specialist will be responsible for performing all activities in accordance with the company and customer Quality Management System and EH&S guidelines and procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality of work.
