Your Opportunity:

Are you a seasoned nursing professional looking for a new challenge? As a Senior Practice Consultant, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, you will provide expert advice and guidance on professional practice standards, clinical education, and practice consultation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and development of health discipline-specific policy, standards, clinical education, and guidelines that align with strategic provincial direction.
  • Lead the implementation and evaluation of strategic initiatives, including the development of electronic nursing clinical tools for continuous quality outcomes.
  • Engage key stakeholders in the change process, understand the impact on internal and external stakeholders, and manage risks and benefits accordingly.
  • Oversee comprehensive measures of education effectiveness and advance improvements in standardization.
  • Provide change management and effective communication within a climate of rapid transition.
Requirements:
  • RN or RPN with applicable licenses and designation.
  • A minimum of five years in healthcare practice consultation, leadership, or professional development role in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity.
  • Tactical and operational thinking, taking into account short, mid, and long-term goals, assessing options, and implications.
  • Practical experience in professional practice learning and development, project management, and written communication.
  • Master of Nursing or equivalency.
  • Wide scope of experience in clinical education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
