Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mountain View Resort & Suites. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, highlighting areas for improvement and success.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are adequately trained and equipped to meet the demands of our busy food service environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
