Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Farm Operations Manager to join our team at Log Barn 1912 Enterprises Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our livestock, and managing the growth and maintenance of our agricultural crops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat livestock health issues
  • Direct and oversee agricultural crops deleafing activities
  • Monitor and maintain animal health
  • Supervise milking operations and ensure work is done correctly
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain livestock performance records
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
  • Maintain work records and logs
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Perform general farm duties

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience

Work Environment: Our farm is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be working closely with our team to ensure the success of our operations. You will be required to work 40 hours per week in a physically demanding role.
