Job Summary: Interior Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and expertise in the application of quality improvement principles, practices, and proven quality scientific methods supported by Interior Health. The specialist will promote the integration and standardization of evidence-based systems as identified, and in alignment with the Quality and Patient Safety Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide education and training on quality methodology, including lean improvement and lean management, quality system development, monitoring, and analysis of key performance indicators.

Support the ongoing development and implementation of best practices related to improving quality across IH.

Participate in serious incident reviews and provide reports and supporting recommendations for action arising out of incident investigation.

How You Will Create an Impact:

As a Quality Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise to promote and support a culture of continuous quality improvement. You will facilitate the integration of quality improvement initiatives that can be monitored and measured using reliable data and aligns and integrates improvement efforts with IHA quality service teams, programs, and networks.
