Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MAPLE LEAF MARINAS HOLDINGS GP INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to woodworking and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work conditions.
  • Physical demands include bending, crouching, kneeling, and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work hours will be 35 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
