As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Your expertise in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials will be essential in maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various locations. Your work will involve fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, as well as working in a physically demanding environment that requires bending, crouching, and kneeling. This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek and English as the primary language of communication.
