Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MAPLE LEAF MARINAS HOLDINGS GP INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to woodworking and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality structures.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Working hours will be 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
  • The language of work will be English.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
