About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hygiene/Treatment Coordinator to join our team at MCA Dental. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize scheduled appointments to achieve weekly and monthly revenue budgets through treatment plan monitoring, patient information flow, and continuous patient contact.
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and ensure all pre-treatment processes are in place, including pre-determinations, deposits, and clear expectations.
  • Analyze the schedule to ensure it is booked in a way that improves efficiency and helps the clinical team run smoothly.
  • Liaise with insurance providers to facilitate communication with patients and the clinical team.
  • Meet with patients one-on-one to present and review treatment plans, answer questions, and discuss treatment options.
  • Prepare and send pre-determinations, follow up on outstanding treatment plans, and maintain accurate accounting and patient records.
  • Maintain patient relations through ongoing dialogue with patients before, during, and after treatment.
  • Support other team members by aligning individual contributions with those of the team and group.
Requirements
  • A self-driven individual with a willingness to help with a variety of administrative tasks.
  • Comfortable using dental clinic software and digital tools.
  • A solid understanding of dental procedures and the ability to communicate the treatment process effectively with patients.
  • Experience analyzing radiographs and preparing pre-determinations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, organized, and reliable.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations relating to the dental office environment.
